At Caring Excellence Personalized Home Care Services, community connection is part of how we care. This October, our Northern Kentucky team hosted two uplifting events designed to bring people together, share helpful information, and celebrate time well spent.

10/6 – Bingo Bliz at YMCA Burlington

Location: 5874 Veterans Way, Burlington, KY 41005

We kicked off the month with a lively Bingo Bliz—and a special twist. With schools on fall break, our kids stepped up to help call numbers, adding extra smiles (and a little friendly competition) to the afternoon. Between rounds, we shared a short talk on fall prevention, focusing on simple, practical steps to stay safer at home this season:

• Clear the path: Keep walkways free of throw rugs and clutter; add nightlights in halls and bathrooms.
• Move with support: Use handrails on stairs and grab bars in bathrooms; don’t hesitate to use a cane or walker if recommended.
• Dress for stability: Choose supportive, non-slip footwear and take your time when standing up or turning.

10/16 – Bingo at Scheper Ridge Independent Living

Mid-month, we brought the fun to Scheper Ridge Independent Living for another round of bingo, conversation, and connection. It’s always a joy to see neighbors reconnect, swap stories, and cheer each other on.
