One of our wonderful clients is affectionately known as “Popeye.” The nickname couldn’t be more fitting! He has been a lifelong fan of the iconic sailor, loves eating spinach, and has always admired Popeye’s strength, determination, and positive spirit.
Knowing how much this character means to him, our team decided to do something special.
We reached out to King Features, the company that owns the Popeye character, and shared our client’s story. We simply wanted them to know how much joy their beloved character has brought to one of our clients over the years.
To our surprise and delight, they responded with an incredible act of kindness.
A short time later, a package arrived filled with Popeye-themed gifts, including:
- A Popeye collectible action figure
- A classic Popeye t-shirt
- Fun Popeye stickers
- And a handwritten note addressed to our very own “Popeye”
The note read:
“Dear ‘Popeye,’
We couldn’t find any spinach, so we’re sending these instead!
Ah-gah-gah-gah!
We hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day.
— Team Popeye”
Needless to say, our client was thrilled.
