Caregiver Stress Checklist

Caregivers are oftentimes unaware of the symptoms of stress that they are experiencing while meeting the needs of their loved ones. Caregivers need to take care of themselves in order to be able to take care of their loved one. The following checklist provides a list of symptoms that can help you identify if you are experiencing caregiver stress:
Reduced health related quality of life
Low levels of self-efficacy and well-being
Abuse of drugs and or alcohol
Frequent headaches or bodily aches
Gaining or losing a lot of weight
Negative attitude towards care
Sleeping too much or too little
Neglecting your own needs
Increase is physical health problems
